A Time for Thanksgiving

This year my word has been GRATEFUL.
It seems that when I pick a certain word it becomes
more difficult to focus on it.
Sometimes being grateful is difficult,
but then it comes into focus as the year travels along.
This week I read that when we are grateful we begin
to realize that we have enough and that there is an
abundance of enough in our lives.

May your Thanksgiving be "enough" and
full of love and gratefulness.

Beautifully written, Marilyn. I just posted on gratitude, too. It's a wonderful word -- and good for your health!

But you know, you said it was hard to focus on to start. I have a feeling you were focusing and didn't realize it as you wrote each and every lovely post about a day spent with little D or a beautiful sunset or garden or seascape or Joey. Grateful enough to record it, to share it.

You've got gratitude in spades, my dear!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Beautifully expressed, Marilyn! Gratitude can at once be easy, and yet so hard. I know sometimes I find it hard to be thankful for the hardships that come along. The past two years have been hard. But there has been much good, and for that I'm thankful. I'm with Jeanie...your space here is like one long uninterrupted gratitude journal! And what happiness for us to share in it with you. :) Wishing you a continued lovely Thanksgiving weekend, my friend!! ((HUGS)) P.S. LOVE these sweet photos--very tender-heart!

Lovely Marilyn - gratitude is a special gift.
The migrants looking for a new homeland - are grateful for a safe journey.
A new mother - is grateful for a healthy child.
Each one of us have a multitude of things we are grateful for.

I wish we had a special "Thanksgiving Day" here - I think it is a special time to show appreciation for our families.
